TIPS braves the storm for a workshop

In spite of the typhoon Mina that struck the Ilocos region, members of The Ilocandia Photographic Society (TIPS) carried out their photography workshop under the direction of Mr. Nathan Lubian.

The workshop entitled Blaze of Shadows: A Journey to the North has changed its venue from Burgos to Playa Tropical and Sitio Remedios resorts in Currimao on day one for the shoot and Papa Paus Diner in Laoag on day two for the post processing.

The participants’ mood was not dampened by the Signal Number 4 storm. Instead of having it outdoors they made it indoors and used the ambient light coming from the windows. There was a bit period when the rain stopped and the group was able to shoot with the models outdoors close to the beach.

This workshop was participated in by Michael Ong, Dr Robert Luzod, Ronald Macatulad, Dr. Edwin Antonio, Archi Joseph Reginaldo, Dr. Joy Lazaro, Landell Galiza, James Ragus, Lorna Tolentino-Macatulad, with non-members Dr. Jonathan Noble, Dr Ja Malvar, Noel and Hans. Models were Che and Jem and Make up artists, Don Cristobal and Alvin.
