TIPS shoots salt-making

With the objective of shooting series of environmental portraiture in the province of Ilocos Norte, the members of The Ilocandia Photographic Society (TIPS) went on January 24, 2015 for another coverage, that was the salt-making in the town of Pasuquin.

Pasuquin is popularly known producer of salt and in the highway are bags of salt displayed on stalls ready for selling. TIPS president Bryan Rapadas and vice-president Michael Ong arranged the photo shoot by choosing the Mendoza family who owns one of the salt-making plant.

Wendy Mendoza, daughter of the owner gave us a short talk on the process of salt-making and guided us in their plant together with their patient workers. J’eia Pucan our model quickly got ready for the shoot and generously posed for the photographers.

The participants of the shoot capped the day with a group shot at the beach with a sunset background and later chilled out at the barbeque stand nearby.
