Prior to July 24, 2010, Mr Scott Kelby called for participant walkers for his 3rd Annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk. The Ilocandia Photographic Society (TIPS) responded to this call where Dr Jose Orosa III, TIPS president set up a site at Pangil, Currimao, Ilocos Norte. He organized this local photo walk but later turned over the leadership to Mark Louie Chan, TIPS vice president.
There were 50 signups to the photo walk site and 60 percent showed up. It was participated in by photography enthusiasts from Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. Majority are members and applicants of TIPS.
The group assembled at the Currimao town hall at 4pm and started shooting there. They headed towards the coast with fishermen and other people around. Boats were seen here anchored on the shore. The water was calm but the sky was a little bit gloomy missing the expected sunset at the bay. Coral rocks were on their great forms scattered around perfect for shooting. After two hours, they concluded the walk at the Pangil Beach Resort and got in for dinner and sharing at Batac City.
