An art photograph on canvas entitled “Ragsak ti Panagsala” by Alaric Yanos was purchased by no less than the Honorable Bonifacio C. Clemente, mayor of the municipality of Paoay. He was fascinated by the photographs exhibited by the members of The Ilocandia Photographic Society (TIPS) during the Rubuatan Exhibit.
Paoay town is the home of Guling-guling Festival where it features beautiful dances. Alaric chanced upon a group of dancers during an event other than the festival held in front of the UNESCO World Heritage Paoay Church.
The said photograph was shot in 2010 with a Pentax camera. The said photograph is now displayed at the Sangguniang Bayan session hall in Paoay.
